Nancy Osgood is founder and president of The Osgood Group, a management consulting firm that helps nonprofit organizations and socially focused businesses improve performance, effectiveness and sustainability. Her work across diverse industries and functions falls into two broad categories: funding model/revenue generation (earned and contributed) and large-scale planning and restructuring to support profitable growth and high performance. She has led engagements in arts and culture, education, social services and philanthropy. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the firm has clients locally, nationally and internationally. Prior to founding the firm, Nancy held senior positions with The Cleveland Orchestra, Morino Ventures/Mario Morino (Venture Philanthropist and Author), Case Western Reserve University, Cole National Corporate and Progressive Insurance. She has been on the faculty of Case Western Reserve University and has taught executives across the country.
Adam Sheldon is a senior consultant for The Osgood Group. His expertise centers around strategic planning, revenue development and management, organizational operations/infrastructure and program development and evaluation. Having served in multiple executive roles, he has a wealth of knowledge regarding the real-time ‘dashboard’ of metrics key administrators and executives need in making decisions that have short-term and long-term impact on their organization. Adam has directed large-scale merger and acquisition initiatives to increase market share, net revenue and community offerings, led successful rebranding campaigns, transformed programs to better serve clients, scaled programs to national markets and has developed significant and diversified earned revenue streams in the organizations he’s led and worked with.
Pat Cirillo Ph.D., is senior statistician and chief research officer for The Osgood Group. Her focus is on quantitative research and analysis methods, and her involvement in all projects focuses on the determination of most cost-effective research methods, the design of analytical approaches to market research, and the interpretation of results to assist clients in drawing data-based conclusions and driving improved performance and business results. She has supported all major research initiatives of The Osgood Group since its inception in 2008.
Pat uses her statistical and data science training to build multivariate predictive models using primary and secondary data. She has worked with The Boston Pops, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Warner Brothers, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the University of Michigan, MIT, Harris, FirstNet, the College Board and the Cleveland Clinic. Her methodological expertise is deepest in the realm of product and service design, product and service performance evaluation, prediction and forecasting, price optimization, branding and market positioning, and studies that rely on complex sampling frames.
Jeanine Maddox is senior administrator and has supported The Osgood Group and its clients since its inception in 2008, by leading administrative and project management efforts, establishing quality standards, continuous improvement and training efforts to support the organization and its clients. Most recently, Jeanine led The Osgood Group’s implementation team, as a partner to NoteWorthy Federal Credit Union, to ensure that artists, musicians, and small arts-focused businesses and nonprofits across the country could access the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) (part of the CARES Act stimulus package of 2020), a mission-driven initiative to provide access to the un- and under-banked.
Jeanine’s career leverages her broad expertise to provide support to presidents, directors and staff to ensure the effective and efficient operations of businesses. Jeanine has been in management roles with local and international firms in Cleveland, Atlanta, and the Washington, DC and San Diego areas, in industries including consulting, technology, government, and the non-profit sector. She has an extensive background in all components of administration including program management, strategic planning, fiscal management, payroll, employee training, human resources, due diligence, purchasing, policy development, marketing, project coordination, and systems technology and implementation in Mac, PC, and cloud-based software.
Jake Sinatra is senior communications strategist & project manager for The Osgood Group's public sector arts clients. He is an arts administrator, creative, and marketing professional, based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jake also serves as Manager of Special Projects & Communications at Cuyahoga Arts and Culture (CAC). Serving Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, Ohio, CAC is one of the largest local public funders of arts and culture in the nation, investing more than $193 million in more than 420 organizations since 2007.
Jake works across disciplines to lead and support projects in grantmaking, community engagement, visioning processes and strategic planning, helping clients create and implement their future vision. Jake also has experience managing online application systems and grant panel processes, while supporting grant programs and communications. He has coordinated dozens of events and community meetings to bring both visibility to CAC and help build connections between the agency and a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Amber Young is senior researcher and analyst and has worked with The Osgood Group and its clients since its inception in 2008 and has supported the company’s work with the Middlesex County Office of Arts and History since 2016. She provides research, analytical and reporting support to all the company’s major research initiatives.
Amber is also the founder and principal consultant at Bedrock Research, LLC, an independent research firm founded to provide a full spectrum of custom research solutions for clients across a broad spectrum of industries. As Principal Consultant, Amber Young works closely with clients on both short- and long-term research projects. She handles all the various phases of both qualitative and quantitative research projects including questionnaire design, managing online questionnaire and statistical programming functions, monitoring data collection in the field, data analysis and communicating results.
Fernando Blanding is the webmaster and technical support specialist for The Osgood Group. He is also a self taught multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and audio engineer based in Portland, OR. Working with local talent he manages all stages of sound recording, focusing to create a production experience unique to the artist’s intention towards their project. the webmaster and technical support specialist for The Osgood Group.
